Accountability takes on a whole new meaning with Graham. Right from the start of your professional relationship, he holds you accountable. I had to put pen to paper and be very clear on my goals, my expectations and most importantly the WHY!
Graham knows that in endurance sports if you don't know your why, you won't achieve elite levels. He knows things will get gritty and you'll have to look beyond yourself for motivation. Results mean less to him than the effort you put in. This silent credo has powered me through midnight training runs in the forest, through hundreds of meters of bear crawling through the ditch on the side of a road, countless burpee races and many more sessions of suffering. Just when you think your body is breaking, Graham hits you with the perfect application of mobility and conditioning as if he was actually feeling what you feel!
Being a solo sports guy in my youth, I never realized how important a good coach can be but I'm happy to have found out!
